Traditional Gabbeh
This Gabbeh features a red, blue, and green striped deign with plant depictions.
All Persian Gabbeh feature handspun wool foundations and piles and are made with natural vegetal dyes.
Traditional Gabbeh feature a coarse weave, with few knots per inch and a thick, plush wool pile. They usually have very little in the way of design elements, with large open fields, simple geometric shapes, bold, bright colors, and tribal drawings of people, plants and animals.
