This Pakistani Gabbeh rug is a testament to traditional craftsmanship, featuring a robust weave that showcases a tapestry of rich, earthy hues and geometric patterns reminiscent of its Persian design roots. The textured surface and tribal-inspired motifs make it a versatile addition to both modern and traditional interiors, reflecting a blend of cultural history and contemporary style. Each rug, woven by skilled artisans, boasts unique characteristics that ensure no two pieces are exactly alike. The striking design measures 5'6" x 8'7", presenting a remarkable opportunity to bring a piece of time-honored artistry into your home.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.
