Crafted by skilled Afghan artisans, this Luri Gabbeh rug is a contemporary embodiment of a storied Persian weaving tradition. The rug's vibrant mosaic of geometric forms and symmetrical animal motifs are a visual testament to the rug's handspun craftsmanship, rendered in a rich palette that adds warmth and artistic complexity to any interior. Seamlessly blending with modern decor, the rug's unique character is accentuated by its all-wool construction, ensuring both resilience and tactile comfort for any living space. Its size, 2'8" x 8'3", makes it versatile for a variety of room settings.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.
