Handwoven by skilled artisans, this Persian Gabbeh rug celebrates the rich textile heritage of Iran with its clean, simple lines and earthy tones, making it an excellent complement to modern and minimalist décor. The soft wool pile and subtle texture provide both visual depth and a luxurious underfoot feel. Its elegant simplicity ensures that this 5'11" x 7'6" piece seamlessly enhances any contemporary space. This Gabbeh rug, with its unique blend of tradition and modernity, reflects the timeless craftsmanship of Persian weavers.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
