This Gabbeh rug, meticulously woven by Persian artisans, is a prime example of enduring craftsmanship, featuring a rich display of geometric motifs set against a deep indigo background. The traditional design reflects a history of mastery in textile creation, while the vibrant hues and bold patterns seamlessly align with contemporary decor trends. Artfully composed and hand-knotted, this unique piece showcases the skill of its maker in every fiber. Perfect for elevating any room, this functional work of art measures 4'2" x 6'6".

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
