Delicately handcrafted in Pakistan, this Oushak rug showcases a traditional Turkish design, woven with intent and expertise that spans generations. With a serene color palette that features subtle grays, gentle creams, and warm rust accents, the rug's design displays an artful balance, invoking a sense of history and timelessness. This piece adapts effortlessly to contemporary decor trends, making it an elegant and versatile choice for various interior styles. Measuring 2'8" x 9'6", this rug is a testament to authenticity, bridging the past and present through refined craftsmanship.

Oushak rugs originated in the small town of Oushak in west-central Anatolia, just south of Istanbul, Turkey. The designs are highly influenced by Persian designs and were highly favored in the Ottoman Empire. They are typically based on large scale geometric or floral motifs. The dyes tend toward muted earth tones, gold, blue, green, ivory or grey. Today, modern interpretations of the Oushak are being created in various rug weaving centers of the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
