Crafted by skilled artisans, this Luri Gabbeh rug reflects the rich storytelling tradition and robust artisanship inherent to Persian rug weaving. The rug, boasting distinctive tribal motifs set against a cream field, is framed by intricate borders, creating a harmonious blend of colors that seamlessly complement modern and traditional interiors. Uniquely designed, this piece resonates with authenticity and is a testament to the enduring legacy of Persian craftsmanship. Perfect for adding warmth and texture, its size measures 3'5" x 9'7", making it a versatile addition to any living space.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
