The Fine Indo Gabbeh rug presents a traditional Persian-inspired design, masterfully handcrafted in India to bring a touch of time-honored artistry to contemporary spaces. The rich red tones and minimalist boundary patterns impart a modern yet classic appeal, offering an elegant visual anchor to any room. Skillfully woven, this piece aptly represents the enduring craftsmanship of its Indian artisans. Sized at 4'6" x 6'5", it is an ideal addition for anyone seeking to blend historical significance with current decor trends.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
