Description

This Luribaft Gabbeh rug, handwoven with precision and skill, encapsulates the rich history of Persian craftsmanship through its vibrant and expressive design. Its lush texture and lively pattern of florals in a warm, earthy color palette offer a timeless sophistication that can elevate any contemporary interior. Perfectly blending tradition with modern decor trends, this rug's unique character and artisanal origin make it a genuine piece of art for the floor. Sized at 5'8" x 7'6", it can effortlessly enhance the ambiance of both small and larger spaces.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
