This hand-knotted Pakistani Oushak runner boasts a timeless design rooted in the rich weaving traditions of Turkey, where the Oushak style originated. Meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, it presents a harmonious blend of faded grays and soft blues, accented with warm ivory motifs that impart a sense of subdued elegance suitable for contemporary decor. Its distinguished craftsmanship and subtle palette allow it to serve as a sophisticated backdrop or a tasteful accent in a refined interior space. This runner measures 2'9" x 12'0", a versatile size for hallways and elongated spaces.

Oushak rugs originated in the small town of Oushak in west-central Anatolia, just south of Istanbul, Turkey. The designs are highly influenced by Persian designs and were highly favored in the Ottoman Empire. They are typically based on large scale geometric or floral motifs. The dyes tend toward muted earth tones, gold, blue, green, ivory or grey. Today, modern interpretations of the Oushak are being created in various rug weaving centers of the world.
