The rug features a subtle yet captivating gradient pattern, with a texture that speaks to the authenticity of hand-spun wool, appealing to both tactile and visual senses. Seamlessly blending with contemporary decor trends, its earthy tones and minimalist aesthetic ensure versatility and elegance in a modern living space. This unique piece measures 8'2" x 9'9", offering a perfect fusion of historic artisan skill and contemporary design.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
