This fine Indo Gabbeh rug boasts a simplistic yet captivating design that pays homage to traditional Persian craftsmanship, reflecting an enduring legacy of artistry from India. The rug's warm terracotta hues are punctuated by subtle geometric patterns, providing an inviting visual and textural charm that complements modern and minimalist aesthetics. Uniquely understated, this piece seamlessly integrates into the contemporary desire for organic and earthy elements in interior design. With dimensions of 3'-0" x 5'-0", it offers versatility and elegance for any intimate space.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
