Discover the understated elegance of the Fine Indo Gabbeh rug, a testament to India's rich tradition of carpet weaving and a nod to its Persian roots. This piece showcases a robust monochromatic field, accented with subtle geometric details, creating a visual texture that complements both modern and classic interiors. The earthy tones and refined craftsmanship offer a touch of sophistication to any space. The rug measures a versatile 3'0" x 5'0", ideal for adding warmth and artisanal charm to smaller rooms or as a feature piece within a layered decorating approach.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
