Embracing the rich craftsmanship of Pakistan, this Gabbeh rug draws on the timeless designs of Persian artistry. The rug showcases a tactile feast with its invitingly thick pile and warm, earthy tones, juxtaposed with vibrant patterns that tell tales of a storied cultural heritage. Perfectly suited to complement modern aesthetics, it brings both history and contemporary flair to any space. Its stature is elegantly proportioned at 2'7" x 8'0", offering a stately yet versatile accent to an interior designer's palette.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
