This Pakistani Gabbeh rug embraces the rich tradition of Persian designs, displaying the impeccable craftsmanship passed down through generations. The warm, earthy hues and simplistic tribal patterns offer a cozy, yet sophisticated aesthetic that easily integrates with modern decor. Echoing the simplicity of nomadic artistry, this piece exudes a unique charm that captivates attention, making it an exceptional addition to any home. Measuring at 8'1" x 9'11", this Gabbeh rug is the epitome of cultural beauty and contemporary elegance.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
