Ready for a change? Have an existing rug you no longer need? We make it easy to trade in your current rug for something new.

Whether it no longer fits your space or you’re simply looking to refresh your home, our rug trade-in program offers a simple and sustainable way to upgrade.

How It Works

1. Preview Your Rug

Send us a few photos and some basic information—like size and any details you know—using the form below or by emailing us at frontdesk@asiantraderugcompany.com

While all trade-ins need to be evaluated in person before final approval, photos are a great first step to make sure it’s something we would consider.

2. Identify Your Goal

Let us know what you’d like in return. You can trade your rug toward:

A new rug from our curated collection.
Cleaning or repair services for your existing rugs.
New rug pads or underlayments to help protect your rugs and flooring.

Once we know your goal, we’ll provide an estimated trade-in value based on your rug and what you’re trading toward.

3. Evaluate Your Rug

When you’re ready, we’ll arrange for an in-person evaluation. You can either bring your rug in by appointment or have our delivery team pick it up.

We assess trade-ins based on:

Condition, size, and age
Origin and construction
Style and overall fit for our showroom and clientele

After reviewing your rug, we’ll offer a trade-in credit based on its value and what you’re trading it toward.

What Rugs Are Eligible?

We accept rugs that meet the following criteria:

Hand-knotted or hand-woven construction
In good, sellable condition, or something we can clean or repair to make sellable (free of major damage, stains, or odors)
A style that aligns with our showroom and customer base

We can't say enough good things about this business. Not only did they do a great job cleaning a dhurrie rug for us, but Ali, their master carpet repair man, repaired a treasured rug for us after we thought it had been destroyed by the dry cleaners. The rug, a remnant from the old Mountain Oyster Club downtown, was torn in several places when we foolishly sent it to be dry cleaned. From now on we will only take our rugs to Asian Trade Rug Company for any cleaning or repairs.
