This Mashad rug is a testament to Persian history, intricately handwoven with unmatched craftsmanship that embodies the artistry of ancient traditions. Its luxurious wool pile unveils a timeless design with a rich, intricate pattern, merging deep reds, navy blues, and touches of ivory, offering visual warmth and textural depth to any contemporary space. Perfectly aligning with modern trends, this piece complements a variety of interior decors, making it an impressive addition to a sophisticated lifestyle. Crafted with enduring quality, the rug measures 12'0" x 17'2".

Rug production began in Mashad, a city in northeastern Iran, in the late nineteenth century. Mashhad is a source of beautiful rug weaving as well as a marketplace for trading rugs of surrounding villages. Deep crimson red is usual in Mashad rugs and is balanced by tones of sky and navy blue. Mashad rugs are typically woven in large standard sizes, and the flowing designs resemble those of Kerman and Kashan.
