The intricate geometric patterns and bold central medallion of this Persian Heriz rug tell a story of traditional craftsmanship passed down through generations. Each knot is meticulously woven by hand to create a tapestry that is both a piece of history and a work of art, featuring rich reds, deep indigos, and touches of ivory. Perfect for enhancing a modern or traditional decor, this rug blends classic design with contemporary style seamlessly. This timeless piece measures 8'1" x 11'9" and adds a touch of Persian elegance to any space it inhabits.

Heriz rugs are Persian rugs from the area of Heriz in northwest Iran, northeast of Tabriz. Rugs are produced in the village of the same name in the slopes of Mount Salaban. Heriz carpets are durable and hard-wearing and they can last for generations. Heriz rug weavers often make them in geometric, bold patterns in vibrant colors with a large medallion dominating the field. Such designs are traditional and often woven from memory.
