This piece captivates with intricate tribal motifs against a deep indigo field, surrounded by a creamy beige border that showcases the timeless art of Luri weavers. Perfectly blending with contemporary decor, its earthy tones and distinctive animal figures add an element of warmth and story to any modern living space. This rug's generous proportions of 9'9" x 12'7" make it an elegant focal point of cultural heritage and artistic expression.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos.
