Embodying the rich tribal history of Persian Gabbeh rugs, this hand-knotted piece showcases simplistic yet expressive motifs that resonate with tales from ancient nomadic culture. Its lush wool pile and vibrant splashes of color set against a deep forest green backdrop provide a delightful sensory experience, while the rustic charm aligns effortlessly with modern, eclectic decor. Crafted by skilled artisans, this rug integrates timeless craftsmanship into the contemporary home. With dimensions of 4'8" x 6'7", it offers a touch of authenticity in a comfortably sized package.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
