Description

This Aryana Mahal rug, crafted in Afghanistan, showcases exceptional artistry rooted in traditional techniques. Its intricate patterns and vibrant colors create a stunning visual appeal, complementing a variety of contemporary decor styles. The plush wool pile offers both comfort and durability, making it ideal for modern living spaces. With dimensions of 8'0" x 10'0", this rug effortlessly enhances any room while reflecting a rich cultural heritage.

Mahal rugs are woven in the region known as the Mahallat, outside of Arak in central Northwestern Iran. Similar in appearance to Sultanabad rugs, with their allover designs, bold floral, vinescroll patterns, and soft classic colors, but identified by different weave and luster.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
