This Fine Indo Gabbeh rug, handcrafted in India, pays homage to the enduring Persian Gabbeh designs with its bold, simplistic patterns and vibrant colors. The plush wool construction and clear, expressive lines offer both visual appeal and textural comfort, ideal for enhancing the warmth of any modern home. Effortlessly blending with contemporary décor trends, it stands as a testament to the artisans' skilled craftsmanship. The dimensions are 3'0" x 5'0", making it a versatile addition to any living space or study.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
