Antique Rust Turkmenistan Beshir Miscellaneous
$300.00
Description
This authentic Beshir rug, with its intricate geometric motifs and earthy, warm color palette, reflects the distinguished weaving traditions of the Turkoman people. Expertly crafted using time-honored techniques, the rug's woolen textures and deep reds and browns easily complement and add character to modern living spaces. Unique in its cultural resonance and understated elegance, this rug exemplifies the artisanship of its creators. Its dimensions are 4'10" x 1'4", making it a versatile addition to any contemporary home or office setting.
Beshir rugs are woven by the Ersari tribe in areas along the Amu Darya River from Bokhara in Uzbekistan into northern Afghanistan. Utilizing less of the geometric designs common to the Turkoman, they feature more natural motifs of flowers, leaves, vines, and animal life in a limited, but vibrant palette.
Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
