Description
This Turkoman Beshir rug exemplifies traditional Central Asian craftsmanship, featuring a rich tapestry of geometric patterns and symbolic motifs. Finely woven with a palette of deep reds, warm oranges, and elegant navy accents, it brings both visual depth and textural sophistication to any space. Its understated elegance and heirloom quality make it a versatile addition to contemporary decor, perfectly harmonizing with both modern and traditional interiors. This unique piece measures an impressive 8'7" x 21'4", offering expansive coverage and a touch of historic grace.
Beshir rugs are woven by the Ersari tribe in areas along the Amu Darya River from Bokhara in Uzbekistan into northern Afghanistan. Utilizing less of the geometric designs common to the Turkoman, they feature more natural motifs of flowers, leaves, vines, and animal life in a limited, but vibrant palette.
