This Persian Kashkoli Gabbeh runner boasts understated elegance with its minimalist design, featuring a clean, creamy field framed by intricate borders. Its handcrafted quality is testament to the time-honored weaving traditions of Persian artisans, offering durability and a soft texture. The sophisticated, yet simple pattern makes it seamlessly adaptable to contemporary settings, providing a touch of timeless artistry. Measuring at 2'8" x 12'8", it is an ideal addition for adding a refined statement to a hallway or a long narrow space.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
