Crafted with a reverence for tradition, this Pakistani Gabbeh rug draws upon centuries-old Persian weaving arts to create a piece that speaks to both history and modernity. Its tight weave and premium wool reveal a spectrum of earth tones punctuated by vibrant striations, making it a visually captivating foundation for contemporary home decor. The adept artisans behind this rug have honored the past while infusing it with a textural depth that resonates in today's interior spaces. Measuring at 7'10" x 9'10", this rug promises to be a subtle yet profound statement in any room it graces.

Gabbeh are tribal rugs crafted by the nomadic Kurdish, Luri and Qashqai people of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word Gabbeh translates from Farsi meaning raw, uncut, or natural. These rugs are a byproduct of a pastoral lifestyle, produced using wool from their sheep herd and dyes from native plants. Gabbeh rug concepts are now being copied and reimagined at many notable modern centers of weaving across the world.

Our collection includes new and vintage/antique handmade rugs, each with its own unique characteristics and color variations, enhancing their individuality and charm. We do our best to accurately depict colors and areas of variation/repair/wear in our photos. We invite you to embrace the inherent beauty of these variations, as they contribute to the authenticity and allure of our handcrafted rugs. Expert repairs and restoration available as needed.
